I have been admiring good calligraphy lately, but I have never tried it (well, except for a little bit the first year at the university). That's until I found this lovely video yesterday. I have been looking for a nice calligraphy stamp to personalize some stationery, but I didn't find exactly what I wanted so I decided I could make my own :) Here is my first try, I hope to get better after some experience.

Hi Iva,
Thank you for your lovely comments this morning, my return visit has been delightful! You are quite a talented young lady. Good luck on your calligraphy and that future trip to Paris. I too loved England and once I got into the countryside, didn't want to leave.

Very nice! Are you devoting the notebook to your calligraphy practice? If so, a nice way to keep track of your progress. So far, an excellent start!

Thank you guys for your lovely comments! You really make my day :)

Cathy, no, this is just an old notebook that was the nearest piece of paper:) I think it would be better to work on separate sheets of paper, but I will probably put it in a file or something, because you are right - it is nice to keep track of my progress :)

Callie, it turned out it is not as hard as I thought. You should try it! :)
