We don't celebrate Halloween in my country (although more and more companies throw Halloween parties), but I sure do love pumpkins. They are the perfect decoration for fall, don't you think?

Beautiful Morning

Hello, dear friends! I have missed almost a whole week of posting and I have a lot of catching up to do with your lovely blogs. I got sick last week and my mom came to keep me company and help me organize my apartment. She cooked some delicious meals (I am sharing a recipe with you later) and brought me fresh flowers. It was great to have her here even if it was just for a couple of days.

The photo above is of my dining table at my kitchen. The morning light there is really lovely and is just perfect for having a breakfast while going through your blogs. I hope your week was great.

Next is a Halloween inspired post with beautiful photos, so stay tuned!

Poetic Terrorism

Dear friends, I want to show you a wonderful book that has collected beautiful photographs from many talented women around the world. All proceeds go to a charity that helps children in Nepal, so if you have some extra money to spend or are looking for a beautiful gift for your loved ones for the holidays, this book will be perfect. I am very proud to be a part of this project and I am happy to be included along with so many talented photographers. You can find out more about the book here as well as links to the charity we are donating the money to and where you can get your book from.

Have a beautiful Monday!

Today I want to show you a project I am proud to have taken part in. Two years ago my art teacher called me and a couple of other students from the university with an offer to go help him with a very important project. It was an exact copy of the place where Paisius (one of the most important people in our history) lived and the chapel "St. Ivan Rilski". I took part in the first stage - making the colours and laying the first layers of paint. The project was finished last year. Here are some photos of the place.

Lovely: O-Check

How fabulous are these "library" hardcover notebooks? They combine two of my passions - old books and notebooks!

Blogs & Tea

After walking home in the rain yesterday without an umbrella (silly me) I managed to get myself sick. So I am staying at home today, no university, no fun activities - just a couple of TV shows, your blogs and lots of tea. It's 3 p.m. here and I have already drunk a dozen cups of tea, mostly thyme and mint with lots of honey in them. I am not a huge tea lover but those two are delicious! What is your favorite type of tea?

I think this print by MadeByGirl perfectly describes my afternoon. Oh, and it's only $9,50 right now! Great, isn't it?

Inspiration: Cade Martin

I love these beautiful photos by the talented Cade Martin. More of his work here

Morning everyone! Hope you all had a lovely weekend. I wanted to thank you for the support and share what I came up with on my drawing class on Friday. We are supposed to draw nude models but since it was too cold the models didn't take off their clothes. And because it really sucks drawing clothes over the body I decided to draw faces. I am trying out new techniques because the previous years we were using pencils and white paper only. This one is made with chalk. I try to relax my hand for it is so difficult for me to switch between the different techniques, but oh, the possibilities! I got really good reviews and although I stayed for only a couple of hours it was great!

here is a close-up of the face:

More to come on Friday!

During the fall, when it is cold outside, there is nothing better than having a good book and a cup of tea (coffee) and staying at home cuddling the blanket or just chilling in a quiet cafe.

Hello, everyone! I haven't had a lot of time the last couple of days to spend here in blog world (projects, projects, projects) and this is just a quick post to share a lovely place in Switzerland.

More here

And now I am off to bed. I have early classes tomorrow, my first painting class for this semester in the afternoon, I have to go register for Sofia Architecture Week and in the evening I am meeting the girls. We are going to listen to one of the best bands over here that performs life and it is going to be great! More on that tomorrow.

Have a wonderful day!

Inspiration: Jenifer Altman

Just letting you know that the very talented Jen Altman just opened her new Etsy shop today. It is filled with photos from her trip to Italy and it is fabulous! I really wish I could buy her book (which also comes with a limited edition print and if you place your order by 29 October you will also get her beautiful calendar). How great is that?

Wishing you a lovely Tuesday night.

"One off"

I first read about this project about a week ago. There was an article about it in my favourite magazine issued in my country - Brava Casa. The idea is simple - 1000 kilos of porcelain sold by the kilo, one time only. This all happened at the French Merci Gallery in September thanks to Paola Navone and the famous Tuscan factory of Richard Ginori. One-of-a-kind jugs, plates, mugs, decorations... Oh, I so wish I was there!
